Alice Robinson is a highly accomplished dancer, choreographer, and movement director who splits her time between Sydney and London. With a background in contemporary dance, she has developed an innovative and eclectic approach to her craft. Drawing inspiration from a variety of sources, including soundscapes, human psychology, current world issues, and art, Alice has made a name for herself as a stand-out contemporary creative. After relocating to London in 2018, she debuted her immersive production "Does It Matter In the Dark?" to sold-out audiences in November 2019. Throughout her career, Alice has worked with a number of notable figures in the industry, including Benoit Swanpouffer, Emma Portner, Belen Leroux, Larissa McGowan, Sarah Boulter, Patric Kuo, Stephen Tannos, Lukas McFarlane, and Ricky Jinks. Some of her recent credits include Myer Christmas 2022, Bras and Things "Embody This," movement directing for music artists Elizabeth Fader and Young Franco, working for Opera Australia (Dance Captain), BBC One's "The Greatest Dancer," Londoner Macao Campaign, Company Jinks, The Dream Dance Company, HSBC, So You Think You Can Dance, Untitled Dance Company, and various other performances around the world.
In addition to her performance work, Alice is also a freelance teacher who has taught all over Australia, the UK, and parts of Europe. She recently returned to Sydney, Australia during the Covid-19 pandemic and is eager to collaborate while back home. Alice's goal is to help others combine their intellectual capacity and personal creativity to express themselves authentically. She believes that by doing so, we can all discover our true genius and share it with the world.
